Property Description:
All visible horizons are part of this substantial working sheep property. Guests are free to wander in the rolling landscape dotted with mature trees and the quiet presence of grazing sheep and cattle.
The Shearers' Quarters is a Victorian weatherboard building, constructed early last century, which has been sympathetically restored to preserve its heritage and authenticity. It has long verandahs with 5 bedrooms on either side, a farm kitchen featuring an original wood stove, and a large communal area with a big open fire, comfy couches and a table that seats twenty.

Function / Conference Facilities:
Combine The Shearers' Quarters with Allanvale Homestead for wonderful country weddings and special dinners. Catered dinners can be held either at Allanvale Homestead or at the Shearers' Quarters.

Recreational Facilities:
Allanvale has an inground swimming pool and a tennis court that can be used (by arrangement) by guests of the Shearers' Quarters.
Allanvale offers ample space for all kinds of impromptu outdoor ball games like football and cricket, and guests may also wish to bring their bicycles to tour the picturesque surroundings.

Description of Rooms/Units:
There are 2 double bedrooms and 8 twin share bedrooms, each opening onto one of the verandahs. There are electric blankets throughout, although there is no other heating in the bedrooms. Beds have pillows & cases and bottom sheets. Bring your own top sheet or sleeping bag and towels.
The kitchen has a traditional wood stove and outside on the verandah is a modern hooded barbecue. Kitchen facilities also include a large fridge, a microwave, a small electric stove, a 4 slot toaster, an urn and a large pantry.
A separate shower block has 4 showers and 2 hand basins. A separate toilet block has 3 toilets.
